Greeting Team

At the Loft, we are here to make every person that walks through our doors feel loved and feel at home. We want them to feel safe and to know that there are no judgements here. We want them to feel welcomed and valued, whether it be a first time-visitor or a long time member.

First Impressions ministry is about creating an atmosphere of warmth, friendliness, and love, so that people want to come back to learn more about Christ. What we do matters, whether it be a hug, a handshake, a smile, or just a "good morning, we're glad you're here!" You can impact the life of someone! We are the first face they see walking into the church. Our impact is influential to many people for Christ!

Requirements include serving 1 to 2 Sundays a month. We ask that you arrive 20-30 minutes before the start of service. We would like greeters at the two entrance doors, greeters at the sanctuary doors, and greeters inside the sanctuary to shake hands with those seated. We also hand out announcements when applicable and help first-time visitors get to children's church.
